Batman depends on numerous gadgets to help him in his battles his Batarangs, Batmobile - his ultra fast car that gets him from place to place, or Utility Belt filled with high-tech weapons. His outfits have changed over the years but if there's one thing that’s remained the same it’s the famous batman logo - a black batman figure on a yellow background.

Batman and his Non- Superpowers
We’re so caught up in the idea that batman is a superhero that we forget that he doesn’t even possess any superpowers. He can’t even fly nor does he have super strength nor can he move at the speed of light. Instead he has other advantages that make him the most feared superheroes.
First and foremost, Wayne is a billionaire. He basically has money growing on trees he has that much, more cars than your average local garage and square meters in his mansion that probably haven’t been walked on. Maybe money doesn't make him invisible or help him climb walls, but i guess every little helps, right?
On top of that, his parents worked hard for their wealth, he comes from a well educated family. He’s smart, he has great detective skills and makes the most of his strength and physical agility. He doesn’t use weapons .
He lives in his Wayne Mansion. The Manor grounds include an extensive subterranean cave system that Bruce Wayne discovered as a boy and later used as his base of operations as Batman, the Batcave. The entrance to the Batcave is sealed off with a wall of cement to prevent anyone from discovering or accessing the Batcave
On the other hand and as human as he is, Batman has weaknesses. The main ones being, he can die like any other person, a shot, a blow or a fall or, simply, illness or old age. Yes ladies and gentlemen, Batman gets old!!
But, being Bruce Wayne also has its advantages. He does not line up in night club queues, he has flashy cars, he has a butler who prepares lunches to die for. Not to mention his whirlwind romances, being rich and the handsome man he is there’s no doubt he has endless number of women falling at his feet. His first ever girlfriend was Julie Madison but he broke up with her after discovering she was only after his fortune. He then got involved with Vicki Vale a news reporter, who suspected him of being batman.
Other girlfriends knew perfectly well who he was, and perhaps that was how they crossed paths. The most famous is Selina Kyle, better known as Catwoman, they experienced more of a love-hate relationship. Similar to Talia al Ghul, daughter of an arch-enemy of Batman. Another impossible romance for the collection.
A Bat Party
If you are a real bat-fan and would like to travel in a bat-mobile and live in a bat-cave... Then you have to organize a bat-party NOW! Look how good the bat-cosplayer Florence Sofen is!
Here are some suggestions to who cannot miss out on the party. And we are not referring to your friends, we’re talking about Batman characters, one way or another they have to be at the event.
We know that hosting a party at Bruce Wayne's level is not that easy. He has the money, the fame, the contacts and a mansion! No better combination for a spectacular party right? As well as being the perfect host, he’s also considered a very generous guest at all the charity events in Gotham.
Let’s lower the bar a little and invite some enemies! Maybe Batman wouldn’t do this but that’s not going to stop us.
The Joker - the Archenemy
Appearing to be the most evil, deranged, and flat out psychotic killer of all comic book villains, he is the Joker. .Although very little is known about his past, something really bad must have happened to him for him to be so sadistic.
The Joker's physical appearance is a polar opposite of that of Batman. The Joker relies on bright colours, such as a purple jacket, a green waistcoat, and sometimes orange to do his bidding. The Joker also has a melted cliche clown face, the origins of which differ depending on the continuity he is used in.
He is the villain that has Batman run off his feet and surely he will not want to miss the party.
Harley Quinn and her Bat
The psychopathic duo(Joker and Harley Quinn) met each other in the Arkham Asylum… where else, right?
Harley Quinn comes from a pun on the word "harlequin" is a character in which her wardrobe has changed drastically over the years. We can now see loads of new styles and models and as you can see from the photo above, her famous bat.
The Joker convinces to join him up in a rampage in Gotham and being dubbed as 'Harley Quinn', both wackos go around town creating chaos, something which the Batman finds it difficult to stop
Catwoman - A Love/Hate Relationship
Batman and Catwoman's relationship has been on and off for years. They’ve gone from allies to enemies and back to allies again.
Born and bred in the suburbs of Gotham and raised by an alcoholic father, Selina Kyle learned to mature at a very young age. She’s known as the white-glove thief, she specialises in robbing jewellery stores and art galleries.
One night when she finds Batman in plain action in a park in the city, she decides she also wants an outfit to commit her misdeeds.
Robin - The Best Partner
He is young, cheerful, quite positive and likes to play the piano. His costume consists of flashy colors like red, green and yellow. These colours contrast with the darkness and discretion of Batman. They complement each other perfectly and form a good team to fight the bad guys in Gotham.
The creators of Batman though that Batman needed a sidekick to share his detective intuitions, inquiries, headaches.. Etc and that’s how Robin came along who in addition managed to connect with the young audience of DC comics.
How about a dynamic duo costume - Batman and Robin and you can go to a fantastic costume party just like the cosplayers above Florencia Sofen and Fali Ruiz- Davila.
Poisin Ivy - The most Dangerous Botanist
Poison Ivy's real name is Pamela Lillian Isley, a Gotham City botanist, who is obsessed with plants, ecological extinction, and environmentalism. As an experiment, she was injected with toxins by Jason Woodrue who’s known as the Floronic man. And now she is one of the most notorious eco-terrorists that uses plant toxins and mind-controlling pheromones for her criminal activities.
Although the character's look has evolved over the years, she typically has long, flowing hair, plant vines extending over her limbs, and a green one-piece outfit adorned with leaves. Now she’s one of Batman’s biggest enemies. Would you like to dress up as Poison Ivy, check out our makeup tutorial in the video below.
The Riddling Riddler
Confusing the police and Batman with his riddles is his favorite sport. He’s called The Riddler and he is characterized by his green outfit with question marks. If it’s one thing that’s Batman’s enemy, it’s without a doubt, mystery.
Unlike other villains, The Riddler barely fights physically, though he could, he fights with his intelligence - he has to put them in a deathtrap to see if he can devise a life and death intellectual challenge that the hero cannot solve and escape.
Bane - Strength and Intelligence
One of Batman’s number one archenemies.
Bane is an escaped convict from an island prison in South America and a super-villain/assassin. Bane has abnormal physical strength as a result of having undergone experiments involving a derivative of the drug Venom. However, he’s not all strength as he read books and cultivated his mind.
Obsessed with the darkness of Gotham and Batman, he headed there to finish off Batman. Along the way he freed a few friends who were staying in the Arkham Asylum ... now that's a party.
Penguin - Enemy and Snitch
He is perfectly sane and apparently he only runs a nightclub. Yes, a club frequented by virtually all Gotham criminals. Of short stature, stooped and obese, Penguin is one of Batman’s most persistent and ancient enemies.
At the same time, he is his informer and gives him information about what’s going on and what the villains are up to. He’s sly and a deviser but he leaves the dirty and physical work to his accomplice.
From Comic Books to the Big Screen
Since the first comic appearance of Batman in 1939, the character, created by Bill Finger and Bob Kane, has been adapted to different formats, from TV series to movies and Video games.
In his first appearances, Batman carried a gun and fought against gang members. Later on the Joker made his first appearance - Batman’s first psychotic enemy. As the plot took off Batman's personality also evolved and not only did he fight villains, but he also faced internal conflict.
The first time Batman was seen on the big screen was in 1943. Since then, Batman has featured in more than a dozen movies. Some more successful than others, but all have featured famous actors that interpret both the hero and the villains.
From Michael Keaton or George Clooney to Christian Bale and Ben Affleck they have put themselves in the shoes of Bruce Wayne. Jack Nicholson, Heath Ledger and Jared Leto have played for the Joker.
Do you want to join the list? Maybe you will not make it to the big screen but, hopefully, you'll be on the Facebook wall ... Make the most of it and get one of our Batman, Joker, Harley Quinn or any of the characters that appear in the Batman's adventures
